The archaic name of our Vermentino echoes medieval Sardinia, the extraordinary figure of the juighissa (judge -ruler of the time) Eleonora d'Arborea and the dream of the unity of the entire island under a single banner, that of "Sa Republica Sardiska".
Its straw yellow with golden glares and its delicate but captivating fragrance are enriched by Mediterranean scrub’s scent, in which thyme and rosemary are prevalent. The soft and fruity taste is livened up by the predominance of citrus notes.
The grapes in our vineyard are scrupulously harvested and selected by hand one by one, evaluating both ripeness and appearance. Their care is evident in the expert cutting with shears and the gentle care to preserve the perfection of the grapes.
After aging in steel, Sardiska has a straw yellow colour, enriched by golden reflections. Its delicate but enveloping fragrance is imbued with hints of Mediterranean scrub, with the predominance of notes of thyme and rosemary. The soft and fruity taste comes alive with the liveliness of the citrus notes.
Sardiska is the perfect accompaniment to enhance seafood cuisine, in particular shellfish and refined dishes. Every sip of this Vermentino is a sensorial journey through traditions.
